Conceptual Edit
Detailed critique that will focus on your idea, dig into the story line, character development, strengths and weaknesses. This is perfect for a very rough draft, it will not address grammar or punctuation. Think of this as a hard core beta read with a lot of feedback. The focus will be finding the story in your own voice.

Developmental Edit
Detailed edit focused on style. This is the big dog, an in-depth edit that will include rearranging paragraphs for flow, restructuring sentences, finding inconsistencies in tenses, analyzing pacing, voices of characters and continuity in scenes.

Copy Edit
A line-by-line detail edit focused on mechanics including grammar, spelling, punctuation. Perfect for manuscripts that have been through a developmental edit, this includes light restructuring of sentences/paragraphs for flow and continuity.

Proofread
Need that final polish? Been through all the edits, made all the corrections? This is a careful comb-through to pick up any errors and small consistency issues.
